Comptroller-elect Brooke Lierman announced the leaders of her transition team Thursday. These are the individuals who will help her prepare to take over the office in January.
Her transition team includes current Comptroller Peter Franchot, Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks, and State Senator Susan Lee as honorary Chairs.
Maryland State Treasurer Nancy Kopp, State Delegate Joseline Pena-Melnyk, and Chief of Staff to UMBC’s President Candace Dodson-Reed were named committee co-chairs.
Lierman’s transition team will include six work groups which align with the key functions of the Comptroller’s Office.
