Delegate Shelly Hettleman has been appointed to the State Senate to replace former Senator Robert A. Zirkin who resigned at the beginning of the year. Delegate Hettleman has served in the House since 2015 as a member of the Appropriations Committee.
Representing District 11, Hettleman will be sworn into the Senate Monday evening and serve as a member of the Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee.
