Manis, Canning & Associates (MCA) are beyond proud to share that on April 11, 2025—World Parkinson’s Day—G. Nick Manis, Jeff Begin and LJ Urie will each take on the incredible challenge of
running 100 miles across Maryland’s Eastern Shore in 24 hours. G. Nick is President of Modus Solutions, LLC. and the son of our managing partner Nicholas Manis. They’re doing this in honor of Brian Adam (G. Nick uncle), or “Big B,” who passed away last December after a courageous 10+ year battle with Parkinson’s Disease and Multiple System Atrophy (MSA). With every mile, they’ll be raising funds for the Michael J. Fox Foundation, the leading organization working toward a cure for Parkinson’s and better therapies for those living with it. Big B faced every challenge with resilience and a smile, and this run is the young men’s way of carrying forward his spirit—uniting those who loved him and making a real impact in the fight to end this disease.
If you would like to be part of this journey! Here’s how you can help: Donate to support Parkinson’s research. All of us at MCA wish the young men safe travels as they set out to accomplish their incredible goal of running 100 miles in 24 hours.
Nothing but the best and FINISH STRONG!
