Governor Larry Hogan announced the appointment of Jason M. Stanek as the incoming chair of the Public Service Commission. Mr. Stanek most recently served as Senior Counsel to the Energy Subcommittee of the US House of Representatives’ Energy and Commerce Committee. Prior to that, he served 16 years in progressively senior positions in the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
Mr. Stanek is replacing the current chair, W. Kevin Hughes, who is stepping down effective June 30, 2018.
