The Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland has shared their agenda for the 2025 legislative session, targeting six priority topics. These categories are health, housing, education, wealth, public safety, and justice reform. The Black Caucus’ agenda focuses strongly on laying their foundation for solutions to the systemic challenges that affect black Marylanders. From engaging with the Prescription Drug Affordability Board (PDAB) as a means for constituents to receive affordable medicine, to advancing equity through housing initiatives, this agenda is the Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland’s way of progressing Maryland’s Black communities and making meaningful development throughout the state.
