Acting Secretary of Health Dennis Schrader announced yesterday the appointment of Dionne Washington as the new Chief of Staff for the Medicaid program. Ms. Washington has more than 20 years of combined government, private sector and health care experience. She has previously worked at the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as an executive associate, first working with Deputy Secretary Bernard Simons in our Developmental Disabilities Administration and in recent years in the Office of the Secretary.
