In a letter to Legislative Black Caucus Chairwoman Cheryl Glenn, the General Assembly’s presiding officers, Senate President Mike Miller and House Speaker Mike Busch, stated there would not be a special legislative session to revamp the medical cannabis industry and the number of grower licenses awarded. Instead, they offered their support for passage of emergency legislation to expand the industry early in the 2018 General Assembly session.
