State Senator Ed DeGrange has announced that he will retire at the end of his term in 2018. Senator DeGrange was first elected to the Maryland Senate in 1998. He served on the Senate Budget and Taxation Committee during most of his Senate career as Chair of the Public Safety, Transportation, and Environment Subcommittee and the Capital Budget Subcommittee. Before being elected to the Maryland Senate in 1998, he served on the Anne Arundel County Council.
